Questions

The ones worth asking first.

Rates, boundaries, access, and exits belong in the first conversation—not in the fine print after it.

01 What do you charge?

The first month is hourly while we learn what the work actually is. After that, the better fit is a fixed monthly retainer against a defined scope. The number is agreed before the month starts.

The final public rate remains a launch decision and is intentionally not invented here.

02 What do you not do?

I don’t file taxes or give tax advice, sign on your behalf, move money, or take on multi-year bookkeeping cleanup without a separate scope. I don’t run ads or design. If something needs a licensed professional, I’ll tell you.

03 What happens if it isn’t working?

Two weeks’ notice, either direction, no penalty. Every procedure written for your business stays yours, so whoever comes next inherits the system.

04 How many clients do you take at once?

Capacity is confirmed before work starts and protected by written scopes. The final public client cap still needs Johainie’s approval, so this site does not fabricate one.

05 Which tools do you work in?

QuickBooks, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, ClickUp, Asana, Slack, GoHighLevel, Jobber, and TMS platforms. For another system, allow a week to learn its real workflow.

06 Can I talk to someone you’ve worked with?

Yes. Ask on the call and Johainie will connect you directly to a named reference who has agreed to speak.

07 I’m not in trucking or construction. Does that matter?

No. The calendar, inbox, and books work is common to any small business. Freight documentation is the additional operating discipline, not an industry gate.
